Anastasia Malone. [NAME]
Porygon-Z. [SPECIES]
Female. [GENDER]
Thirty-seven. [AGE]
[ALLIANCE] C.O.D.A.
[ABILITIES]
She can hover slightly above the ground. Her arms, being separated from her body, are free to move and levitate around as she wants them to. She's also capable of converting her body into pure data (minus the collar and clothing, which fall to the ground in the process) if she touches a computer or electronic device. She can re-emerge from this afterwords, and will always appear in the same position as before, clothes on and collar intact. She can also be sent through computers via e-mail, but getting her collar and clothing back is a lot more complicated that way...[/color]

[DESCRIPTION]
Anastasia is a rather twisted sight. Her face and body are very recognizably human, but it's all so smooth and artificial that she doesn't appear real. Rather than flesh she has a sleek pink surface to her (blue in some spots, like around her mouth and nose) that shares many properties with firm plastic. It reflects light in the same manner, it feels the same way when touched; she even smells like plastic. Where eyes once rested in her eye sockets now sit a pair of yellow orbs marked by several circles. The eyes of a Porygon-Z. Protruding from the top of her head is a pink, rounded spike. Straight, dark black-blue hair curves down and around her head in fine even strokes. Her neck is extremely thin, to the point at which it looks physically incapable of holding up her head. As for the rest of her body... it's very odd. She doesn't have shoulders and her arms are completely detatched. They hover at her sides in an almost ominous manner. She also lacks distinctive elbows and joints; rather, her arms and fingers are rounded out and bend about half as far as they could before her transformation. The four-fingers-and-a-thumb hand structure is still there, though she lacks fingernails and the tips of the fingers are flat and round. Each finger is topped with a yellow circle, resembling her eyes. These sense electrical currents in solid objects. Her legs are much different. While they are still attached to her body, they're not really legs at all. They're pointed stubs that are only a few inches long. She doesn't normally need to use them, so this doesn't bother her much. This does, naturally, make her very short.
Now, what makes her so creepy is her clothing. Being a creature that many Pokemorph-opposers would call a "monster", one wouldn't expect her to dress nicely if at all. But alas, Anastasia has been a businesswoman for over a decade, and becoming a Pokemorph couldn't possibly change her firm belief that one must come to work dressed well. So, she wears a white ruffled shirt topped by a black jacket that's buttoned in the middle. Her long sleeves hang uselessly down by her sides, leaving her arms bare and making it easier for her to take advantage of their ability to levitate and float a short distance away from her. She also wears a plain black skirt that goes down to just about the tips of her "feet". Her blue collar is shiny and new, and it actually hovers in the air around her neck (some sort of raction between her and the metal). A simple tie hangs from it in the front.
[PERSONALITY]
Not a lot can be said about Anastasia's personality (or lack thereof) mainly because it quite plainly isn't there. Being spliced with a Pokemon that's little more than a living computer program has re-wired her mind and turned her into a sort of robot. She is only concerned with fulfilling her orders, and all she retains of her former personality is a strong loyalty to CODA; a belief that CODA will defend the region of Johto and guide it to a wonderful era of peace. Aside from that there's only hard logic and an unbreakable sense of duty. Give her a mission and she will fulfill it, unless it actually becomes impossible to do so.
Her mind works like a computer, crunching numbers and calculating data to reach conclusions. She was always good with math and logic before her transformation, so being half Porygon only strengthened this. If faced with a problem she can almost always approach a rough answer through a system of calculations.
[HISTORY]
Anastasia was born in Saffron City, though her family moved to Goldenrod while she was still very young so that they could live closer to relatives. Her father had always considered Johto his home, despite the few years of his life he'd spent in Saffron with his Kantonian wife. He quickly got a job working with the government (not with CODA and long before the Pokemorph incident even started, mind you). All of Anastasia's family were strong supporters of the government and believed in Johtonian nationalism; even her Kanto-born mother after a couple of years living in Goldenrod. As such, the girl grew up believing firmly in the idea that the government would shelter everyone from harm's way no matter what, and would remain strong as long as it needed to.
She excelled in school and soon had a shiny new college diploma. While she'd been in college she worked part-time in a call center, but now that she had the time for a real job she decided to work for CODA. After all, she wanted to do everything she could to assist her government protect people, and CODA's duty was to put abnormal threats to rest. Being the charismatic person she was, Anastasia quickly progressed with her work. Promotions became gradually less and less surprising. She did however always stick to the office environment; handling threats firsthand was not something she had any experience in.
At the age of twenty-two she got married to a man named Larrie. For about a year or two the marraige went well. They had a baby boy whom they called Jesse, and were soon faced with the challenge of parenting. However, this challenge was perhaps the thing that broke their relationship. Beneath the surface things were already a bit shaky, but now that they had to face disagreements about how to raise a child head-on, everything slowly began to come apart. Larrie had always been an alcoholic, though now he was even worse about drinking. Anastasia became overcome with stress, which caused her to falter with her work and even in her own descisions. Soon their attempts to hide their newfound dislike for one another from Jesse were becoming easier and easier to see through, even for a child.
Jesse wasn't taking this well at all, and seemed to become more and more reserved. In fact he appeared to be depressed, spending all his time in his room and never really showing any genuine emotion. So, she began taking him to a child therapist. Unfortunately this didn't seem to help much, but... well, she wasn't sure what else to do. Larrie had to interferre and put an end to the therapist-visits as soon as he found out, however. Neither Anastasia nor Jesse approved of this.
Before too long they just couldn't keep it up anymore and split up entirely. The two of them fought over who would keep Jesse (at least for the time being), but it was Anastasia who whisked him away after a few days of arguing over the issue. Larrie threatened to take the issue to court and ensure that he gained custody, but never acted on his empty threats. Rather, he simply faded from his wife's life. Soon after Anastasia moved away to a small apartment they got an official divorce.
Living away from her now-ex-husband did wonders for Anastasia as far as work went. Now under less stress she proceeded to catch up on things she'd been unable to handle for years. Jesse progressed through school with average grades (this displeased his mother, perhaps because she'd never had trouble with school, but she didn't have the heart to lay any more things to worry about on the poor kid). She simply shoved his troubles aside, telling herself all he needed was time, and that he would adjust accordingly before too long.
And then, Jesse was gone.
There was no explanation. No note left for her. Not even a clue as to where he might be. She came home one night, and her son was nowhere to be seen. Anastasia was quick to call the police and try to get help. She was insantly guilty. He was her son. He was her son, and he'd been unhappy for years. And she, his mother, had simply taken his emotions for granted and pretended everything was okay... And now he was gone.Quite possibly forever.
She never even got the chance to apologize to him for being such a neglectful parent.
About a week after his mysterious disappearance she recieved a call from CODA. Not the CODA office she'd been working at for years. The branch of CODA that was handling the current issue that put the entire region in jeopardy. The branch of CODA that organized the Pokemorph project.
She was told that they had evidence Jesse had been taken by Lucem Ferre. That he was probably either a Pokemorph or dead by now. And that she was more than likely to never see him again.
The rest of her world meant nothing to her now. She didn't care what happened next. She didn't care about consequences or how foolish her descision must have been. A mother's desire to protect her child overrules most other things in life. As such, she was ready to leave the sidelines. To leave the security of her office workplace and head to the battlefield. For Jesse.
People who were actually willing to become Pokemorphs were always a rarity, and as such Anastasia was given several special privaleges. She had a say in how the transformation process would go, what species of Pokemon she would be 'morphed' with, et cetera. She even recieved some special training on how to use her new abilities during the time she would have been going through the "brainwahsing" process (as it was clear she didn't need any more convincing that CODA was the greatest thing since sliced bread).
Now she could be considered one of the "higher-ranking" Morphs. Anastasia has been loyally serving CODA for a couple months now, and obeys their every command without question. While she does whole-heartedly support the effort to neutralize Lucem Ferre, her real goal is to either find or avenge her son. Of course, she isn't willing to speak openly about him.
[OTHER] Even her voice is a robotic high-pitched monotone, though it could be vaguely recognizable as the voice she had before her transformation if someone who knew her well enough heard it.
