[NAME] Albert Egmont (Albert: Noble and bright, Egmont: Weapon, Defender)
[SPECIES] Kecleon
[GENDER] Male
[AGE] 32
[ALLIANCE] Lucem Ferre
[ABILITIES] Albert carries the trait of camouflage. He can change the color of his scaly skin to match his surroundings and become almost completely invisible. However, this does not apply to any clothes he is wearing (Including his collar) nor the trademark red, zig-zag stripe around his midsection. So theoretically, it's not very convenient.
Another ability he has comes from a power of the Kecleon species, Color Change. When fighting another Pokemon or Pokemorph, or if hurt by any natural phenomenon (burning building/forest, frostbite, etc.), his type changes from Normal to that particular element. The funny thing is, his eyes change color, too. The effect lasts a few minutes after exposure ceases. Types can be overridden.
[MOVES]
Normal: Thief, Tail Whip, Astonish, Lick, Scratch, Bind, Faint Attack, Fury Swipes, Feint, Psybeam, Shadow Sneak, Slash, Screech, Substitute, Sucker Punch, Shadow Claw, Ancient Power
TM: Protect, Facade
[DESCRIPTION] Before his transformation, Albert was of slightly above average height, around 5'11". He had short, soft dark brown hair (and a bit of mustache stubble) and deep, dark brown eyes. Despite his strict, hard appearance, his eyes always held a jolly, light-hearted sparkle in them. His face was a bit long, but rounded and high-cheeked. He was a bit long-limbed, but mid-sized, and his voice carried a thick German accent.
However, that was before he was captured.
Now, his once tannish skin is covered in tiny, light green scales, head to toe. Pale yellow markings loop around his eyes which, although the same color, are now cold and hard. The markings start from where his nose would be, which are now two, tiny holes on a rather rounded slope, and stretch across his elongated, reptilian mouth. His mustache stubble is gone and, due to the scales, will never grow back. Two jagged frills stick out form the top of his head, the base hidden by his still dark-brown hair, although it is now much coarser. Similar frills also stick out of his shoulder blades, but much shorter lengthwise and without the yellow edging. A red stripe wraps around his midsection, zig-zaged in pattern. His body shape has also changed, becoming a little more... thicker. Not exactly fat, just thick wherever a limb attaches to the body. Also, due to Kecleon's short size, his height has decreased to 5'6". Albert's limbs have hardly any distinction of elbows or knees (although they're still there), and his fingers have shrunk to small, yellow digits (still usable, though) along with his toes. His feet have also shortened, leaving him unable to wear shoes. He is still perfectly capable of walking, and the scales on his feet protect him from rough surfaces. Oh, one more thing. He has a long, coiled tail protruding from his tailbone. It doesn't unravel very far, and would just barely support his weight if he hung from a tree limb.
As far as clothing goes, Al wears an outfit that resembles a detective more than a Policeman. He wears a plain white shirt and brown pants that reach down to his nearly non-existent ankles and are held up by a relatively plain, leather belt. He also wears a very long coat the color of his pants that drops about mid-calf. Both the coat and the shirt have slits near the shoulders for the frills, while both the pants and the coat have a slit for the tail. The coat's tail slit splits that part of the coat in half, creating almost a "tailcoat". Albert also has a broad-rimmed hat, slits included. Due to his new foot shape, normal shoes do not fit him. He just goes barefoot. Oh, and you can't forget the red collar strapped around his neck.
[PERSONALITY]
Albert, back when his life was relatively normal, was a very cheerful fellow. His laugh was thick and his face almost always held a smile. And when he laughed, his cheeks faintly glowed a red hue. He had a great sense of humor and could laugh at anything. He was kind and gentle, especially to his wife. Always broke into a smile when he saw her. However, on duty, he kept a serious look and stayed focused oh the job at hand. Straight-faced, hard eyes, the typical look of a Policeman. He almost seemed like a different person.
Let's just say that now, it's like he's on duty all the time.
None of the other Lucem morphs nor the scientists have ever seen him smile. Most of the time he's off by himself, either staring at the horizon or at...something else. Almost never speaks unless spoken to, and still he sometimes doesn't answer. A lot of this drastic change has to do with the death of his wife and other thoughts and plans inside his mind.
[HISTORY]
Up until the Pokemorph incident, Albert's life was fairly normal for the everyday person. He was an adorable kid. He went to a fairly good Public School in Cherrygrove. Maybe got teased a bit for his accent. Maybe that spurred a little bit of his justice mentality. Joined the Wrestling team, despite his scrawny stature. Owned a pet Pokemon for a while. He had a couple girlfriends throughout highschool, not simultaneously of course. Graduated and set off for a job as a Policeman in Goldenrod. Eventually, he met his wife.
Her name was Katherine.
Oh, she was gorgeous. Long blond hair, big blue eyes, modest as any person could be, clothing and personality. She worked as a Kindergarten teacher at the local school there. She even had a slight British accent. She was almost in disbelief that Albert had asked her out, as she had only had a couple boyfriends back in her schooldays herself and they didn't find her as interesting as they'd hoped, which wasn't helpful to her mentality. They continued dating until Albert had to go to an extended police stay in Cherrygrove, his hometown. Kathrine went with him. He proposed to her under the cherry tree that was in his old backyard. They were married back in Goldenrod and took residence in a cozy condominium. Life couldn't be better.
That was before the Pokemorphs were sighted.
It was around this time that Goldenrod had REALLY been getting reports on strange disappearances and rumors of vicious, humanoid creatures breaking into homes and stores. The Police force couldn't be any busier. This didn't stop Al from being overjoyed when his wife told him she was pregnant.
His lifetime happiness bar had reached it's peak, and it all cascaded downhill from there.
One seemingly fine day, Albert sat at his office desk thinking about the recent events when a call came in. There had been a break-in at a condominium. He froze in shock when the given address... was his.
In sheer panic, Al grabbed his car and sped to the scene before any of his comrades had time to catch up, just barely right behind. The image of the house would be forever burned into his mind.
Everything was in ruins. The windows were shattered, tables flipped over, vases lay broken on the floor. The part he would never forget was the deep claw marks etched in the walls, furniture, floor. Everywhere. And his wife was nowhere to be seen. And those footsteps behind him were not the sound of his partners. The last thing he remembers is being bludgeoned to the head, and then darkness.
The next part he has trouble remembering clearly. At one point, he remembers some hind of cage of sorts. Maybe some sharp needle. On and off, bouts of consciousness followed by pain followed by darkness. When he finally did fully awake, he began to notice the changes.
First off, he was thirsty. But licking his lips revealed a long, sticky tongue. His hand flew to his mouth. The shape of his face was now much rounder, not to mention... scaly. He looked at his hand. Small, pale green, tiny yellow fingers pointed at the ends with sharp nails. Feet, disfigured. Still usable, but impossible to wear shoes now. He immediately recognized himself as a Kecleon. He was one of them.
Eventually, Lucem Ferre strapped a collar on him and sent him out into the forest, giving him strict warnings about what would happen if he tried to do anything... disobedient.
