[NAME] Aria
[SPECIES][/i][/color] Darkrai
[GENDER] Female
[AGE] 19
[ALLIANCE] CODA
[ABILITIES] Aria can completely disappear, and reappear in another location, but she can only do it when she's standing on or is under a shadow (she can do it a lot, though, since most of the time she's on her own shadow). The same goes for where she reappears. She can also cause sleeping people nightmares just by being near them (about a seven foot radius). She can also float, when she wants to.

[DESCRIPTION]
Aria, being a Legendary 'morph (and a Darkrai no less), is more unique than the "average" Pokemorph. She has long, flowing white hair, icy blue eyes, and black skin. But that's just the basics.
From her shoulders come flowing scarf-like structures. No one knows what they're made of, but Aria believes them to be made of a type of "dark matter." She also has three spine-like growths just above her elbows, along with sharp claws on her fingers.
She also has a sort of hourglass figure, with a skinny waist and slightly-bigger-than-normal hips and bust, along with slightly broader shoulders. Ringing her neck, on her shoulders are the classic red Darkrai spines, the largest one situated in the center of the top section of her torso.
Coming from her waist is another "dark matter" structure, looking quite akin to a black skirt, and in a way, it is one. Except, yanno, it's attached to her. It's another "flowing" structure, that appears somewhat jagged. The bottom of the "skirt" is a sort of zigzag line, with the back of the skirt being the longest section, along with being the most tail-like. When she doesn't want to walk, the "skirt" lengthens, her legs disappear (and somehow whatever pants and shoes she's wearing go too), and she floats, about two feet above the ground.
She's able to endure almost anything. She could run a marathon and not be tired. She could do pretty much the same thing with weights.
And of course, she wears a blue collar around her neck.
[PERSONALITY]
Aria's almost a perfect mix of clashing personalities. She's not bipolar, but she seems to have conflicting emotions raging within her. She loves killing, but will only do so if she has orders to. She loves the darkness, yet she feels most comfortable in the light. She's caring, and yet she's ruthless.
She likes it when she's able to do what she wants, but she'll also go along with most of CODA's schemes. However, one thing that she absolutely will not do, is kill "children" (meaning things that appear to be young kids, not two-year-olds that look like teenagers).
She loves solving things (her favorites are puzzles, riddles, Sudokus, and anagrams), and welcomes a challenge. Though, she's also distant from other people, staying quiet and keeping to herself most of the time, so any challenges she has come from other people. She doesn't challenge people on her own (unless of course it's a CODA mission), but will gladly accept any that are thrown at her.
She's happiest when it's raining, and gray clouds are covering the sky (especially at night), though she hates getting wet. She also hates extremes (too hot, too cold, etc.)
[HISTORY]
Before her transformation, Aria was a relatively normal girl. Her life was completely average while she was growing up. She went to school, she had a group of good friends, she made pretty good grades. Life was good. Of course, there was the whole Pokemorph ordeal going on, but Aria then was the kind of person that thought, 'Oh, that'll never happen to me.'
The only weird thing in her life was her parents. They were a couple of psychos, surely. They wanted their daughter to be the absolute best in everything she did (and absolutely everything else, period). So, once they learned of CODA's willing test subject plea, they grinned, turned around, and whisked her off to one of CODA's labs, under the false pretense that they were sending her to a special private school. Aria merely rolled her eyes and endured it, until she got to the lab.
She wasn't given a chance to even think about what just happened; she just blacked out. Of course, this was due to an injection given to her almost as soon as she passed through the front doors, but she didn't know that (and most likely never will). During the next five weeks (which to her seemed like years), she was tested, poked, prodded, cut, and had Darkrai genes inserted into her body. She was in unbelievable pain, never able to become completely conscious, and even then, never able to slip out of unconsciousness for more than a few seconds.
While she was "asleep," CODA's scientists performed more experiments on her, trying to change her into a Darkrai Pokemorph, but it seemed as if her body wouldn't accept Darkrai's genes. However, unknown to the scientists, her body actually was accepting the Dark-type's DNA, but in a different way. It was as if her body was becoming more akin to dark matter, and the type of energy the original Darkrai used. After undergoing several more painful experiments, Aria's body seemed to say that enough was enough, and she roused from her coma, strapped to a surgical table, but not the way she was. All of her memories, all the way to the time she first became unconscious, were gone. All she knew was that she was changed, and that these people were the ones who had done it.
In a blind rage, she broke free of her bonds, and ruthlessly slaughtered all the scientists in the lab. The other morphs-in-progress? She slaughtered them too. Not a single person was left alive in that lab. So, while she still had some time, she escaped, running off in a random direction, leaving a trail of bloody destruction in her wake. Who was she? How had she gotten here? What did they do to her? Her mind was filled with these kinds of thoughts. She briefly saw a flash of smiling faces, seemingly calling "Aria" (which she then assumed was her name), and then it was gone.
Eventually, after a few more CODA employees' deaths, she was captured, and had a blue collar (which the other scientists had somehow neglected to place on her) fitted on her neck. When she tried to take it off, she was drained of her energy, and lost consciousness once again.
This time, when she woke up, she was in much better surroundings. Though, she was handcuffed to the cushioned chair she was currently sitting in. Looking around, she saw that she was in a somewhat nice room, with plain carpet, and white walls. It was quite large; looking at the other end, she spotted a couple other Pokemorphs, but she was unable to make out exactly which Pokemon they were. Across from her, sitting in the same kind of chair, was a slightly panicky-looking scientist. The first word that came to her mind? Nerd.
"Nerd" was writing down something with a jittery hand on a plain clipboard, and when he was done, he began asking a few questions. Questions like did she remember where she was from, did she remember any family, was she in any pain, that sort of thing. Aria answered each question civilly and as truthfully as she could. By now, Nerd had lost most of his jittery-ness, and wrapped up the questions. Another "nerd" came in, and they uncuffed Aria from the chair, and led her to another spacious room. It had a bed, a computer, a couch-like piece of furniture, and a few other miscellaneous items. Assuming that this would be her new bedroom, she made herself at home.
After that first day of being treated civilly, Aria decided to willingly work for CODA (instead of being brainwashed or whatever). Three years have now passed, and she has completed plenty of missions, her love of killing coming in handy on occasion as well.
And that's where she is now.

Just clearing something up: Aria was not the first Darkrai test subject, but she was the first one that completely accepted its genes. I just didn't find a good spot to put that in the history.
